If this film comes to your area be sure not to miss it, it was a wonderful film! I've recommended to all my friends and family.

I saw this movie because my husband was also a Mormon missionary in Russia, but he served a few years after these missionaries were kidnapped. He said that the footage in the city was fairly accurate in showing what the average person's life in Russia is like; I really enjoyed the large amount of details in the story of the kidnapping, especially because "based on a true story" films leave out or make up the details. I checked my watch twice during the movie because it felt a bit long, but the movie was never slow for more than 3 or 4 minutes before another scary or surprising thing happened. It is definitely worth seeing and learning about what these missionaries and their families experienced!

Last night we were privileged to see this movie! Please see it if it comes to your area (and it will be available through Netflix)...I was mesmerized by the touching story and faith and strength and even compassion shown by these two amazing Missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their families. We were blessed to have two of the cast members and the director talk to us after the showing...what fun! (The webpage has a Q&A entry - after you see the movie)...PLEASE support this film. You won't regret it!

It's a great, inspirational movie that is told with strong story telling abilities.
